Hey everyone,

I had the weirdest experience the other day while walking through the streets of Slatina, and I just have to ask if anyone else has encountered something similar, or if I’m just losing it.

So, here’s what happened: I was on my way back from the market around 6 PM, just minding my own business. The sun was setting, and there weren’t many people around, which was a bit unusual. Suddenly, I noticed a man walking towards me with a big grin on his face. At first, I didn’t think much of it—people smile all the time, right?

But as he got closer, I realized that he wasn’t just smiling—he was almost laughing, but without any sound. He walked right past me, still grinning like he knew some inside joke that I was completely oblivious to. The weird part? He was holding a potato in one hand and a toothbrush in the other. He wasn’t dressed oddly or anything—just an average guy with a potato and a toothbrush, laughing to himself.

Naturally, I turned around to see where he was headed, but when I did, he was gone. I swear, I looked back almost immediately, but there was no sign of him. I’ve walked that route dozens of times, and there’s no alley or turn he could’ve taken that quickly.

Has anyone else ever seen this guy or had something similar happen in Slatina? I’m starting to feel like I had some kind of bizarre daydream. Or is this some sort of prank or local legend that I’m not aware of?
